At the Work Meaningful Foundation, we believe education is not a privilege—it’s a right. That’s why we are partnering with Akyremade Primary and JHS School in Ghana to create life-changing opportunities for hundreds of students.

Empowering Communities: From Clean Water Access to a New School

2026 Technology Lab

We are building a state-of-the-art technology lab that will open doors to digital learning for students who have never touched a computer before.

The lab will provide access to more modern equipment and guided instruction in essential digital skills. Beyond simply teaching technology, this space will foster curiosity and confidence, empowering students to explore new ideas and opportunities that were previously out of reach.

Phase 1 of 2026 Elementary School

12-Classroom Elementary School

Construction will begin on a brand-new, two-story school building, giving 200–300 children—many who currently have no access to school—a safe and inspiring place to learn. In addition to classrooms, the facility will include essential resources and areas for community engagement. Beyond education, the school will serve as a cornerstone for community development, creating local jobs, supporting families, and opening the door to brighter futures for generations to come.

2027 Trek for Education

In addition to raising funds for the school, another principal project we will hold is to raise awareness for the foundation’s work and important connection to West Africa and the “Trek for Education.” - More information to come!

Expanding access

Our mission is to provide consistent access to quality education for students who otherwise could not afford it, ensuring their futures are shaped by opportunity, not limitation. We aim to raise and donate over $1,000,000 annually to support educational initiatives in Ghana and under-resourced communities across the United States.
