Since our establishment in 2023, Work Meaningful Foundation has been working in Ghana to make a real difference in the lives of students and their families. We are proud of the impact we’ve made so far—and we’re just getting started.
2025: Brand-new junior high school
in Akyremade
In 2025, we commissioned a brand-new Junior High School building, serving hundreds of students in Akyremade. Before this development, many learners faced challenges such as limited facilities, which hindered their ability to fully benefit from their education.
This new school building provides spacious classrooms, improved infrastructure, and a more conducive atmosphere for both teaching and learning. It empowers students with the space and resources they need to thrive academically, while also supporting teachers in delivering higher quality education.

2022: Community access to clean water
We successfully constructed a water borehole that has transformed daily life in the community by providing reliable, direct access to clean and safe drinking water for the very first time. This borehole now serves as a sustainable and dependable water source, significantly improving health outcomes and sanitation.
2020: Providing Dual Desks
We provided 90 dual desks to the community, significantly improving the learning environment by ensuring that students have a comfortable, structured, and safe space to learn. With the introduction of these desks, students can now learn and grow in a more organized and effective setting.

With each donation, we are one step closer to breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty, by providing these communities with the tools they need to succeed.
Current Projects
We are in the initial stages of planning the construction of a 12-classroom elementary school. The school is expected to serve between 200 and 300 students and we will begin construction in 2026. One of the principal projects we will hold to not only help to raise funds for the school but also raise awareness for the foundation’s work and important connection to West Africa is the “Trek for Education.”
